Archiving.SG

Archiving.SG seeks to document Singapore’s visual culture through a stream of snapshots contributed by the public. The images sent in will eventually be curated into the Singapore Visual Archive, a resource to understand the city and its people through the graphic materials it produces and consumes.

Terrain developed the overall front-end visual identity and typography while the back-end programming and development was handled by Yin Shanyang.

Jiang Tan Identity

A Melbourne-based speech pathologist approached us to help him in developing a functional, professional identity that he could use to communicate to his potential and existing clients.

In response, we developed a typography-driven solution that focuses on the minute detailing within the logotype such as the colouration of punctuation marks to hint at the client’s own dedicated and disciplined approach toward speech therapy and rehabilitation. A colour palette of green and silver was chosen to draw a link to the medical ties of the profession in a refreshing manner.

d.lab

d.lab is a commercial entity and trademark that was created by the Design Incubation Centre as a means to communicate its research outcomes through commercial distribution channels.

A new identity program encompassing stationery, an extensive range of printed collaterals and literature, packaging, exhibition and signage systems was created to support the new trademark.

The d.lab logotype was designed by using a customised version of Rotis Sans-serif (developed in 1988 by Otl Aicher). The typeface is also widely used on Singapore’s highway and street signages.
